The Barton, Dade, Jasper County Special Education Cooperative is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2019-2020 school year. The Cooperative serves Avilla, Everton, Golden City, Greenfield, Jasper, Lamar, Liberal and Lockwood. School Psychologists working for the Cooperative generally serve more than one school district and travel is required. The School Psychologists coordinate the intervention programs and progress monitoring in the Districts, manage the initial referrals and evaluations under the IDEA, case manage the reevaluations, participate in IEP meetings, work directly with the special education coordinators and staff in the district(s) they are assigned, and manage paraprofessionals who are helping to provide intervention to students on behalf of the School Psychologists. The School Psychologist will also be required to conduct functional behavior assessments, prepare Behavior Intervention Plans, monitor the fidelity of the implementation of the BIP, etc.
