Raymore-Peculiar School District School Psychologist for the 2019-2020 school year

    The Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of School Psychologist for the 2019-2020 school year.  The individual who is hired for this position will coordinate the District MTSS Framework and support District administration in its implementation, serve as a consultant to district staff and parents regarding student learning concerns including any social, emotional, or behavioral barriers, and assist in team planning and screening efforts at the District level. 

    Qualifications:  

    • Completion of a specialist, PhD or equivalent degree (minimum of 60 graduate semester hours) with a major emphasis in school psychology
    • Hold a current certification as a School Psychologist in Missouri through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)
    • Completion of a planned program of practicum experiences and a supervised internship equivalent to one academic year, or a minimum of 1,200 hours
    • Previous experience in a public education system preferred

    Salary:  

    • $65,326 - $70,710 dependent on previous experience
    • 219 day work calendar
