For those in Columbia area the Boone County Schools Mental Health Coalition and the Missouri Prevention Center will be hosting a FREE presentation by Randy Sprick who will speak about a tiered approach to behavior support in schools.

"This session provides an overview of a three level view of behavior support: school-wide, classroom and individual student and focuses on the staff's role in establishing and maintaining this continuum. For each level, key indicators of effectiveness are provided. At the individual student level, a multi-tier approach is described to insure that the easiest,
and least staff-intrusive interventions are tried first, only progressing to more complex and staff-intensive interventions if needed."

The presentation will on March 19th, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 at the Memorial Union S107 – Jesse Wrench Auditorium at the University of Missouri.
