    Job Type: Part-Time
    Start Date: August 2025

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Special Education Evaluator to join our assessment team. This position is responsible for administering and scoring standardized assessments as part of the special education evaluation process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and experience working with students with diverse learning needs (special education experience is ideal). Evaluators may be asked to conduct Academic, Adaptive, and/or Cognitive testing. Persons interested in cognitive testing must hold a school psychological examiner or school psychologist certification. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Administer, score, and summarize standardized academic assessments for initial and reevaluation processes in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

    • Communicate effectively with staff regarding assessment procedures and results

    • If appropriately certified, administer and interpret cognitive (IQ) assessments

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education

    • Knowledge of academic and/or cognitive assessment tools (KTEA, WISC-V, etc.)

    • Strong organizational and time management skills

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

    • Familiarity with the special education process and timelines

    • Experience administering assessments within a school system

    • School Psychological Examiner or School Psychologist certification (required for those administering cognitive assessments)
