NKC Schools will be adding a new internship position for the coming school year, which will be open to applicants from EdS programs in school psychology.
The position will be based out of our two alternative special education schools (K-12), which are specialized to meet the needs of students with significant emotional and behavioral issues. The intern will have many opportunities for behavior consultation, FBAs and other therapeutic interventions. The intern will also gain experience with our extensive MTSS resources through group supervision, consultation, and team meetings. NKC has an existing pre-doctoral internship track, and our EdS and PhD interns will collaborate and participate in many of the same training opportunities.
