Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district to provide a School Psychologist for a school district in St. Joseph, Missouri for the 2019/2020 school year. The School Psychologist will function much as a consultant for the district, identifying children qualifying for additional services and making referrals when appropriate. The School Psychologist will not manage an ongoing caseload.

- Caseload: General Education, K-12, will serve in a consultative role for the district, officing out of the district administration building and collaborating with school administration teams on an as-needed basis
- Functions: Provides teachers with input for the purpose of assisting in evaluating student progress and objectives
- Contract duration: long term
- Pay rate range: $30-38 per hour

Duties:
Provides psychological services to children and youth ages 0 - 22 to facilitate learning and development. The School Psychologist is responsible for evaluating, consulting and serving as a resource to students, teachers, staff and parents. They support students' ability to learn and teachers' ability to teach. They apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally.

Qualified School Psychologist candidates must have:
- Missouri DESE Certificate – “School Psychologist” licensure
- Masters Degree +30 hours, MA in School Psychology
- At least 1 year of experience working as a School Psychologist in the schools, either general education or gifted
