School Psychologist Position at Raymore-Peculiar

    The Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of School Psychologist and/or Psychological Examiner.   The individual who is hired for this position will serve on the Special Education Department District Assessment Team.  The position will support the special education evaluation process including review of referral data, administering assessments, interpretations of assessments, synthesis of the comprehensive evaluation data and eligibility determinations. 

    Qualifications for School Psychologist:

    • Completion of a specialist, Ph.D. or equivalent degree (minimum of 60 graduate semester hours) with a major emphasis in school psychology
    • Hold current certification as a School Psychologist in Missouri through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education or currently completing a supervised internship.
    • Completion of a planned program of practicum experiences and a supervised internship equivalent to one academic year or a minimum of 1,200 hours or currently completing a supervised internship.
    • Previous experience in a public education system preferred

    Qualifications for School Psychologist: 
    • Missouri Certification - School Psychologist 
    Salary for School Psychologist:  
    • Placement on certified salary schedule 
    • 188 day work calendar with an additional 5 extra days 

    Benefits:
